This Privacy Policy explains how NyronBot ("the Bot") and its web dashboard ("the Dashboard") collect, use, store, and protect your data. By using NyronBot or the Dashboard, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

NyronBot collects and stores the minimum data necessary for its features to function. This includes:

Automatically Collected

• User IDs and Server IDs — required to identify users and servers across all features.
• Message Activity — message counts and timestamps are tracked for XP leveling and economy earnings. Message content is not stored.
• Voice Activity — voice channel join/leave events and duration are tracked for XP leveling and economy voice earnings.

Stored Per Server

• Server Configuration — custom prefixes, feature toggles, cooldowns, permissions, channel/role assignments, and all settings configured through the dashboard.
• Economy Data — user balances, bank deposits, transaction history, shop purchases, custom currency balances, and temporary role grants.
• Level Data — user XP, levels, and role reward configurations.
• Moderation Logs — if enabled, records of moderation actions such as warnings, kicks, bans, and mutes.
• Ticket Data — ticket transcripts and logs, if the ticket system is enabled.
• Giveaway and Reaction Role Data — participant entries and role-message mappings.
• Custom Currencies — currency definitions and user balances for server-created currencies.
• Shop Items — item definitions, stock counts, and purchase records.

Dashboard Authentication

• Discord OAuth2 Data — when you log into the dashboard, we receive your Discord username, avatar, and server list through Discord’s OAuth2 flow. This is used solely to authenticate you and display your servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate all of NyronBot’s features across your servers.
• To store and apply server-specific configurations set through commands or the dashboard.
• To track economy balances, XP progress, shop purchases, and leaderboard rankings.
• To process and manage temporary role grants and their expiration.
• To log moderation actions when enabled by server administrators.
• To authenticate dashboard users and display server management options.

4. Data Sharing and Security

• We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties.
• Data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database and only accessed when required for bot operation.
• Dashboard communication is encrypted via HTTPS.
• We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

NyronBot interacts with the following third-party services:

• Discord — the bot operates on Discord’s platform and uses the Discord API. Discord’s own Privacy Policy applies to your use of Discord.
• YouTube and Spotify — the music system streams audio from these platforms. No user data is sent to these services.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• Data is retained for as long as the bot remains in a server and the data is needed for functionality.
• If a server removes NyronBot, associated server data may be deleted.
• Economy data for individual users can be reset by server administrators using the bot’s commands or the optional "Reset Wallet on Member Leave" setting.
• Users or server administrators may request full data deletion by contacting us at our support server.

7. Children’s Privacy

NyronBot is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13, in accordance with Discord’s own age requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of NyronBot after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
